The Yeast Secreted Protein Expression Vector Kit provides a complete solution for efficient protein expression using the mature Pichia pastoris expression
system. This system utilizes the alcohol oxidase 1 (AOX1) promoter to initiate protein production, enabling growth on methanol as the sole carbon source. The kit
includes two commonly used expression vectors, pPICZαA and pPIC9K, along with two strains: GS115 (his4) and X33 (wild type). The pPICZαA vector is designed
for expression with the X33 strain, while the pPIC9K vector pairs with the GS115 strain. Primers 5’AOX and 3’AOX are provided for amplification and sequencing purposes.
