Description

Alkyne PEG Maleimide (Propargyl Maleimide PEG, or Acetylene Maleimide PEG) is a high quality heterobifunctional 

PEG reagent from JenKem Technology with a standard quality specification of ≥95% Substitution.

The alkyne group of Alkyne PEG Maleimide is reactive towards azides, while the maleimide group is selective for 

thiol groups on cystein side chains. Heterobifunctional Click Chemistry PEGs from JenKem Technology are generally 

employed as crosslinking agents or as spacers between two different chemical entities. The PEG moiety in the 

heterobifunctional PEG derivatives provides water solubility, biocompatibility, and flexibility. The applications of 

heterofunctional PEGs are especially in the field of antibody drug conjugates (ADC’s).
