Description
B16-F10 is an animal tumor cell line that was originally isolated from the skin tissue of the 10th serial passage of the B16-F0 parent cell line in male C57BL/6 mice with mouse melanoma. These cells were isolated based on their remarkable ability to generate lung colonies following intravenous injection. B16-F10 exhibits epithelial-like morphology with spindle-shaped and adherent culture properties. B16-F10 is tumorigenic and demonstrates a propensity for lung metastasis. Upon introduction into mouse skin, these cells demonstrate a perivascular predominance in VEGF expression across multiple vessels.
