A ganglion is a group of nerve cells forming nerve centers, especially one located outside the brain or spinal cord. Dorsal root ganglion is a group of sensory nerve cell bodies. They pass sensory information to neurons in the spinal cord so the brain can analyze it. In anatomy and neurology, the dorsal root ganglion (or spinal ganglion) is a nodule on a dorsal root that contains cell bodies of neurons in afferent spinal nerves. Dorsal root ganglion cells are pseudounipolar cells. Pseudounipolar cells have 2 axons rather than an axon and dendrite. One axon extends centrally toward the spinal cord; the other axon extends toward the skin or muscle.. Cultured adult rat dorsal root ganglion neurons can be used to study depolarization-induced Ca2+ mobilization and the effects of intracellular Ca2+ depletion on neurite outgrowth. DRGs are very useful in neurotoxicity assessment & other drug screening studies.
Rat Dorsal Root Ganglion Neurons (DRGs) provided by Innoprot are isolated from day 8 postnatal rat dorsal root ganglion. DRGs are cryopreserved immedaitelly after isolation and delivered frozen. Each vial of Rat Dorsal Root Ganglion Neurons contains more than 1 million viable cells. DRGs are guaranteed to further culture in the condition provided in the technical sheet; however, DRGs are not recommended for expanding or long-term cultures since the cells do not proliferate in regular culture

Endothelial cell medium (ECM) is a complete medium designed for optimal growth of normal primary microvascular endothelial cells in vitro. It is a sterile, liquid medium which contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, hormones, growth factors, trace minerals and a low concentration of fetal bovine serum (5%). The medium is bicarbonate buffered and has a pH of 7.4 when equilibrated in an incubator with an atmosphere of 5% CO2/95% air. The medium is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide a defined and optimally balanced nutritional environment that selectively promotes proliferation and growth of normal primary microvascular endothelial cells in vitro.
Endothelial cell medium Kit is a complete medium designed for optimal growth of normal primary microvascular endothelial cells in vitro. Each Endothelial Cell Medium Kit consists of the next components:
500 ml of Endothelial basal medium
25 ml of fetal bovine serum
5 ml of endothelial cell growth supplement
5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution.
