Biomat offers Aminated Plates in various formats, ideal for binding peptides and other molecules through covalent bonds. The surface of these Amine Treated 96-Well Plates is manufactured with primary amines, facilitating covalent immobilization of compounds containing reactive groups such as amino, carboxyl, or thiol groups, using well-established homo- and heterobifunctional linkers.

This covalent immobilization can overcome some of the limitations connected with physical adsorption of the molecules to the surfaces such us small peptides (M.W. 1,000-5,000 Da) drugs, toxins or hormones and can provide an oriented immobilization of molecules in order to secure the integrity and accessibility of their specific sites (e.g. Fab-SH-antibody fragments, streptavidin, or nucleic acids).

Aminated 96-Well Plates are available in clear, white, and black polystyrene in Breakable Strip, Strip and Solid format. They are suitable for ELISA, Luminescence, Fluorescence, and Chemiluminescent assays.
